Fishers Of Men is not a church, but an interdenominational, nonprofit organization having a statewide Christian prison ministry within the state of Kerala. It also has a youth ministry that caters to the youths who are under the bondage of drugs, alcohol, pornography, etc., by bringing them to the mainstream of life as good citizens of their home, society and the kingdom of God.

Fishers Of Men (FOM) is a charitable organization in Kerala, committed in changing the paths of those in prisons and bringing back the wandering youths to the happiness that was denied in their lives, by worshipping the Lord in truth and spirit.

We take the Bible literally as the inspired Word of God written by authors under the guidance and influence of the Holy Spirit. It is our firm belief that even the most hardened of criminals or troubled youth offenders can be touched and changed forever by the power and love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We also provide free counseling and encouragement to one and all in need, who want to turn away from their haunting past and live for Jesus the only Comforter. To new believers and backsliders who are struggling hard to understand the Bible and to live in victorious Christian faith we offer challenging messages and scriptural helps both in English and Malayalam; and it is absolutely free.

In addition, we provide our web viewers articles from our newsletter in English and Malayalam, testimonies, our accomplishments, messages of comfort and many other informations of interest. So please take your time and browse through our site as it will be an experience that you will never regret nor forget.

We promise that names and email addresses sent to FishersOfMenEncounter.org will not be disclosed to any other person/organizations or used for any other purposes but keeping you informed of our progress in our ministerial activities, for which you have shown a keen interest.

After their education most of our youths are wandering aimlessly for a job. Some of them find good jobs and there are yet others who are left behind due to many reasons that have happened in their lives. These youngsters are perishing in different ways and it is the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus that is our inspiration which has thrust us forward to go and share the love and gospel of Jesus to these people by spreading the True Light into their lives to save them from eternal damnation. Our goal is for these people to come into the LOVE, PEACE and JOY that only Jesus can give.

Jesus called out "Come along with me and I will show you how to fish for the souls of men: -Mat.4:19 (Living Bible)

"I have been given all the authority in heaven and earth.- Therefore go and make disciples in all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, of the son and of the Holy Spirit and then teach them these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you: and be sure this-that "I am with you always", even to the end of the world." -Mat.28:18-20 (Living Bible)

Present Goals

  1. Developing and training a group of youths.
  2. Tackling the various problems that the youths are facing today.
  3. House-ti-house visit to befriend the youths and show that we are good neighbours.
  4. Through worship and other programmes convey the love of God and its benefit.
  5. Teach the youths about the moral values and their important role in developing a healthy soceity.
  6. To bring the youths to the saving knowledge of Christ
  7. Inculcate in them the need of sharing the love of Christ to others.
  8. Counseling Center : A place where people can come and share their problems freely and find a solution
  9. A prayer Tower: A Twenty-four hour prayer cell that will cater to the requests of people who need our prayers.
  10. Seminars: Periodical seminars on particular topics/issues by eminent speakers
  11. Providing help to the youngsters for their education.(According to certain conditions)
  12. Prison ministry and helping their family members to come back to the main stream of life.
